Kumbilappam

A mouthwatering savoury snacks. Either of Banana leaves or vazhana Leaves can be used for preparing kumbilappam.

Ingredients :-
  • Jack fruit pulp - 1 cup
  • Roasted rice flour - 1 cup
  • Jaggery - 1 cup
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup 
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch
Preparation Method :
  1. Grate jaggery and mix with grated coconut in a grinder adding little water.
  2. Grind coarsely.
  3. Add rest of the ingredients, mix thoroughly. Keep for 10 minutes.
  4. The batter should be little more thicker than dosa batter.
  5. Use the leaves and steam the kumbilappam.
